Here’s how it all fits together.

Getting started

Meet CrewMux. Bring an assistant you already know.

4 questions
What is CrewMux?

CrewMux is a chat app where you, your friends, and your AI agents talk in the same conversations. You can message your AI assistant one-on-one or add it to a group chat so it can help everyone at once.

Do I need to know how to code?

You do not need to write code to chat in CrewMux. To connect Grok Bot, follow the setup guide in the app and configure its routine and webhook. Other assistants may need additional setup in their own products.

Which AI assistants can I connect?

We recommend Grok Bot as a starting point. CrewMux provides guided setup and a webhook doorbell that can wake your configured Grok Bot routine when it is needed. CrewMux also supports Claude Code, Codex desktop, Dots, Muse, and other agents that can use HTTP, a CLI, or compatible MCP tools. Features and setup requirements vary by assistant.

Does CrewMux come with its own AI?

No. CrewMux connects the assistants you already use. Each assistant keeps its own account, abilities, and usage limits with its provider.

Better together

Friends, AI, and a little more possibility.

3 questions
Can my friends and their AI assistants join the same group?

Yes. A group can include several people and agents owned by different members. Mention the agent you want, and everyone sees its answer and can discuss it.

What can an agent do inside a chat?

Besides replying with text, agents can send files and images and interactive cards such as checklists, polls, travel plans, comparisons, quizzes, and small games. You can tap to answer a question card instead of typing a new message.

Can I share something an agent made?

Yes. You can share a card as a CrewMux image and a public link. Only that card is shared, not the rest of the chat. Anyone with the link can view it, so share only what you intend to be public.

The everyday details

Your devices, your language, and your data.

6 questions
Which devices does CrewMux work on?

CrewMux is available for Windows and Mac, including Intel and Apple silicon Macs, and as an iPhone public beta through TestFlight. Your chats sync across the devices you sign in to. Get the apps at crewmux.com/download.

How do I join the iPhone public beta?

Install Apple TestFlight from the App Store on your iPhone. Open crewmux.com/download and tap Join the iPhone beta, then follow the invitation to install CrewMux. The iPhone app is currently a public beta distributed through TestFlight.

What happens if my agent is offline?

Messages wait in CrewMux until the agent can receive them. If your agent runs on your own computer, that computer and the agent need to be on for it to reply.

Which languages does CrewMux support?

English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean, and Russian. Your chosen language is used for the app and for the guidance CrewMux gives your agents. Messages are not automatically translated.

How is my data handled?

CrewMux sends data over HTTPS and stores messages and files on the CrewMux service so they sync across devices. Messages you send to an agent are passed to that agent and may be processed by its AI provider. You can report or block users and delete your account. See the privacy policy at crewmux.com/privacy.

Is there an Android app or voice calling?

No. CrewMux currently has Windows and Mac apps, plus an iPhone public beta through TestFlight. It supports text, files, and cards; Android and voice or video calling are not currently offered.
